Fifth Grade
FifTH GRADE
Mrs. Abby Klocke
Hello! My name is Abby Klocke, and I am very excited to teach fifth grade at St. Luke's this year! I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2021 with a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in reading. I started teaching 2nd grade at St. Luke's in 2021 and moved to 5th grade in 2022.
I got married this past June to my husband, Zack, who is also part of the St. Luke's community as the STEM/Technology teacher. In my free time, I love being outdoors—hiking, reading, or relaxing by the lake or pool. My family and friends are a significant part of my life, and I cherish spending time with them whenever possible. I'm excited to meet all of you and look forward to a fantastic school year!
Mrs. Claire Silliman
Hello! My name is Claire Silliman. I graduated from Ankeny High School and have been a parishioner at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church for many years. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master of Arts degree in Education from Truman State University while playing volleyball. Go Bulldogs!
Watching my students grow and thrive in a faith-centered classroom is deeply rewarding for me. I strive to meet each student where they are at while challenging them to improve each day.
In my free time, I continue to share my passion for volleyball as a coach at Ankeny High School. I love to spend time with friends and family (especially my niece and nephew!), read, and bake.
